At Brickton Art Center,
creativity is our passion, so for spring 2007
we are recreating our traditional showcase house into the
Artistic
Living Tour of Homes. On
May 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2007 the Artistic Living Tour of
Homes will provide a unique opportunity
for local residents and businesses to take part in an imaginative,
distinctive and well designed community event.
The Artistic Living Tour of Homes
event will revolve around a special art gallery within a newly
constructed home in Park Ridge. This special home will be the
Gallery Home
where its interior space will feature the creative works of both
artist and designer. Professional designers will transform empty
rooms into interior settings featuring the works of adult and youth
artists.
New for this year's tour and in addition to the primary
Gallery Home,
this event will feature several beautifully designed homes of Park
Ridge. Residents of these already exquisite homes will have the
opportunity to work with, Craig Interior
Designs, a professional staging and interior design
firm responsible for creating the Artistic Living Tour of
Homes event alongside Brickton. The
purpose of this tour is to celebrate the unique and eclectic style
of Park Ridge homes.

Also new this year is a community art project,
The Doors of Park
Ridge. The
Doors of Park Ridge project is a unique way
for youth to participate in a celebration of art and design. We are
encouraging young artists to create an art piece about their most
favorite door in Park Ridge. This could be the door from a home,
school, church, library, or anywhere else! At Brickton we open the
door to creativity everyday and we encourage you and your family to
participate in this opportunity to express the beauty of Park
Ridge! All entries will be accepted and on display during the
Artistic
Living Tour of Homesevent. For more
