Classes at Brickton Art Center
Brickton Art Center offers a large variety of high quality fine arts classes for ages two years through adult, for students of all experience levels, beginning to advanced. Our range of classes includes a variety of media and disciplines, from ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, to fashion, knitting, performing arts and more! Experienced art professionals teach our classes in a comfortable & safe environment that promotes exploring the creative process and personal expression.
Important Information Regarding Curriculum and Projects Projects change from session to session. For returning students, past experience and skill level will be taken into consideration by the instructor with regards to projects. Project descriptions may be subject to change. Artists of all experience levels, beginning to advanced are welcome in adult classes. All student work must be picked up from Brickton within a month after the last day of class. Our storage space is very limited. Please make an effort to pick up your child¹s artwork promptly so that it is not disposed of.
Brickton Art Center Policies and Regulations Members receive a 15% discounts on all classes! To receive your member discount you must register at Brickton Art Center. For information regarding membership call Brickton at 847.823.6611, or see our membership page. Children MUST meet age requirements before classes begin to qualify. Students not meeting the age requirement will be withdrawn from class. Unless specified as a couple¹s art class, all children¹s classes are drop-off only. Parents may not stay with children in the classroom during class.
Class Refund and Credit Policy
If a class is canceled or if the schedule of a class is changed so that a student enrolled in that class can no longer attend, BAC will fully refund the tuition of that class. If a student withdraws from a course before it begins, tuition will be refunded or a full credit can be given. If a student drops a course any time between the first class and the middle class BAC will retain tuition for the classes attended but student will be refunded the rest.
Not attending a class does NOT constitute an official withdrawal from a course or cancellation of tuition and fees.
Make-up classes are handled on an individual basis. Brickton staff will attempt to accommodate missed classes but there is no guarantee,
Refund requests can be made via email, in person, or over the phone.
Requests must be made within 10 business days after the last class meeting. Your receipt, cancelled check or proof of I.D. may be required.
Refund checks will be made payable to the original payee and mailed within 15 business days.
