Center from June 6 to July 18, 2008, brings us down roads less traveled to gaze through the unique eye of this photographer. He describes photography as a form of meditation revealing unexpected scenes in overlooked places residing in plain view. Abandoned items most travelers pass without a second look become unusual icons of the ordinary.

Brickton Art Center is proud to host District 207 Maine South and Maine East high school Art Department Awards.
These juried shows feature art students from each of the high schools. Work created by students from Maine South will be on exhibition from April 28 through May 11. Maine East student work will be on exhibition from May 15 through May 22. These shows demonstrate the superior art programs of the district 207 schools. The student work is creative and inspirational and not be be missed!
