ARTsy Birthday Party for Kids: Rules of the Road

• Birthday reservations are not guaranteed without a deposit of $50 and a completed contract. Deposit refunds are available if a cancellation is made to Brickton at least 3 weeks before the reserved time. Due to high demand and limited availability, cancellations made less than 3 weeks before reservation result in a forfeiture of deposit.
• The maximum number of participant guests is 16. We can accommodate several non-participants {i.e. grandparents, siblings, parents of special needs children, etc.}, but please tell the parents of guests this is a drop-off event.
• Birthday projects choice and head guest count should be given to Brickton one week before scheduled party.
• Hosts may arrive 20 minutes before the party is scheduled to begin to set up refreshments/gift table. We can not have hosts arrive earlier than 20 minutes early due to our tight schedule. Refreshments table should be cleared by the scheduled end time of the birthday, to make room for the next party or class.
• Hosts are responsible for supervision of the 45 minute time allotted time for cake, food, and presents. Art instructors are not expected or able to extend the art project portion beyond 1 hour and 15 minutes, nor are required to improvise should the 45-minute party end early. For this reason we highly suggest that gifts be opened here and refreshments served. We have had little to no problems with parents "filling the time" when they follow this suggestion.

Adult Special Event at Brickton Art Center

• Gallery reservations are not guaranteed without a deposit of $50 and a completed contract. Deposit refunds are available if a cancellation is made to Brickton at least 3 weeks before the reserved time. Due to high demand and limited availability, cancellations made less than 3 weeks before reservation result in a forfeiture of deposit.
• The maximum occupancy is 72 persons by fire code. This includes any hosts and/or serving staff, party instructor etc.
• Party project choice, duration of party, and head guest count should be given to Brickton one week before scheduled party.
• Brickton Art Center staff will set-up tables and chairs we have available on site, per your layout, one hour before your event. We are not responsible for setting the tables or decorations. If you are having your event catered including table and table settings, arrangements for drop off of party material must be made with Brickton 48 hours before drop off.
